ANRT
- Segment : Public Body
- The Moroccan Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT) was established in 1998 in accordance with the law n°24-96 that reorganised telecommunications sector in Morocco. ANRT is a public body that reports directly to the Prime Minister. ANRT aims at reaching a high level of fair competition allowing an efficient telecommunications sector for the great benefit of citizens. It grants new telecommunications licenses and implements a transparent framework for driving ICT sectors development.
- ANRT is also in charge of managing scarce resources as frequency spectrum and numbering resources. Moreover, ANRT contributes to reduce digital divide taking part in national programs for enhancing ICT use in Morocco. It also supports development & research in the sector trough the National Institute for Post and Telecommunications (INPT) activities.
- ANRT is here present to give you an overview of the Telecommunication and IT Sector in Morocco. Moreover, the economic and social impact of the ICT will be shown through the achievements in the sector in the fields of foreign investment, employment, added value as well as the Offshoring sector.
