Ethics Charter

The Association of Information Technology Professionals regroups creative and innovative companies of all sizes, representing the majority of the sector in Morocco. Given that information systems are crucial and of strategic importance for all the actors in the economic field,
Gvien the responsibility of each member in the development of the New Information Technology Sector,
Given the role of each member in the improvement and defence of the image and reputation of the profession,
Given that ethics are becoming an ever more important factor for companies, and that companies able to develop this aspect will improve in efficiency and in image,
Apebi has decided to refer to ethical rules that each member agrees to respect, setting itself strict obligations with regards to its customers, colleagues and collaborators.
Each member company agrees to carry out its activity according to these shared ethical rules, with respect to third parties and colleagues, whether this be on a communication level, in commercial actions, or in the delivery of services. These ethical rules are as follows :
  1. Banning all forms of corruption and fraud within the company and in external dealings.
  2. Respecting and raising awareness of intellectual property laws.
  3. Only accepting missions for which the company is qualified, so as to best meet the client’s needs.
  4. Offering solutions adapted to the techical state and the required quality level, and to inform the Client of any developments in this respect.
  5. Rigourosly observing complete confidentiality about client’s or supplier’s projects, information and strategies.
  6. Not harming a colleague by any approaches, manouvers, or declarations contrary to the principles of truth and loyal competition.
  7. Never attempting to take over a project by recruiting collaborators from a competitor currently in charge of the project.
  8. Ensuring that any new collaborators comply with employment legislation, and are free from any contractual commitment towards their previous employers.
  9. Developing professional behaviour and an understanding of quality in each collaborator, by training and assigning responsibility.
  10. Reminding collaborators of the existence of this code of behaviour and ensuring that it is strictly followed.
